“Lyrebird Media is a thoughtful, can-do, professional operation. Maireid and Ben are meticulous in follow-through, immerse themselves in the project and 'get it' at a deep level, and as a result can offer very creative solutions to problems. They have a great eye and are tireless in sorting out what needs to happen for a wonderful outcome.”
Associate Professor Frances Devlin-Glass
“We have hired Maireid for two jobs. The first was to produce a high quality audio CD and the second was to produce a high quality DVD.
On both occasions Maireid gave fantastic service and worked hard to fulfill the brief. We found Maireid's work on both projects exceeded our expectations. Both products, "Guided Relaxation for Teenagers" CD and "Yoga to Dance" DVD are products that we feel proud of. This is in large measure due to Maireid's creativity, expertise and sheer capacity for hard work. I can unreservedly recommend Maireid's services.”
Edna Reinhardt
“Maireid brings creative enthusiasm to all she does. Her superb film - Time after Time - made with her partner Ben Kettlewell sums up the person... a deep thinker, a carer for our planet, and a beautiful musician and visionary.
In 2009, Maireid and Ben mastered a short video clip of my own, and generously advised me on the world of film festivals. And for my book Curiosi-tea, Maireid landed me a review with a presenter from the ABC radio national, where others had failed. Maireid is a 'can do' person.”
Anne Norman
“The works of Maireid Sullivan & Ben Kettlewell have always been a wonderful source of uplifting inspiration. In film as in music, they manage like few to put into artistic form their concern for the world and its (our) future while avoiding the trap of "I-told-you-so"-ing. The Lyrebird media website is easy to use, complete and informative, well presented and like everything they did, you'll leave it as a better person!

“I have worked with Maireid on a number of occasions over the past few years. She is great. We did quite a bit of filming of my presentations, results of which you can see here, for example: http://www.businesscycles.biz/speech9.htm
plus some DVD's and other promotional material. Maireid was a great help for me to do all this, through using her extensive arts and media talents.”

Works in Progress
"Liquid Light - the Power of Water" an artistic treatment on the transformative power of water in all its forms, as reflected in cultural beliefs, scientific discoveries, and technological innovations: past, present and future.
...an audio visual awakening of the senses to the wonder, the magic, the power, and most important ~ the value of water to our existence.
It is predicted that by 2025, nearly three billion people worldwide will face an acute scarcity of clean, fresh water, and billions more will experience shortages and soaring costs for water. Many parts of the world, including North and South America, India, Africa, China and Australia, will not be able to escape the pressures of an increasing population and a finite supply of water. And, researchers in oceanography, marine biology, fisheries science, glaciology, and meteorology are revealing that our oceans and waterways are changing in every way we can measure. Our growing demand for water threatens the world's development and security. See film outline here

Through the creative production methods employed by Maireid Sullivan and Ben Kettlewell, this project will utilize the interplay of light and music to capture the beauty and power of water in sustaining life. 'Liquid Light - The Power of Water' will examine water in all its' forms; from liquid to ice, vapour to liquid and back again, the interaction of water with gravity and the inescapable relationship between it and the survival of humankind. The overwhelming power of water when utilised, such as extracting energy from waves and converting it into electricity, while desalinating - will all form part of this fascinating and unique review of the water resource."

“This film has importance both tangible and intangible. It has an advocacy component that could be of value to the public at-large and to organizations that address water purity and availability. It addresses the current and future availability of clean water for the poor. Most people only drink bottled/purified water. However, this isn't an option for many. It touches on topics often missed by other projects about water, that have focused on the "ethereal" qualities of water but never addressed the "utilitarian" part ... the part that answers a more pragmatic (or cynical) "So what?" It offers "think globally, act locally" opportunities.”
