Concerts & Recordings
Mairéid and Ben interweave traditional and contemporary songs, poetry and spoken word with acoustic and ambient compositions against a backdrop of film. Mairéid's voice can be heard on her three highly acclaimed recordings, on soundtracks for feature films and television documentaries, and on several compilations in the Celtic genre. Three of her songs were on Billboard's World Music Top 10 charts for nine months in the late 90s, at the peak of the Celtic music revival. >> more
